The objective of this system is to create equilibrium in the furnace that leads to the complete combustion of the fuel injected into the system. This is achieved by the fully automated management of air to fuel ratio.
The key benefit of using the CMS0102 is that it can enhance boiler efficiency by as much as eight per cent. This is achieved by auto-controlling of fuel feed and air supply. It works efficiently and effectively under variable load conditions. It has a mechanism by which it can automatically tune the Air-Fuel ratio, which is the heart of efficiency improvement and enhancement. CMS0102 is a one-point solution for a variety of fluidized bed boilers. It can also perform online boiler efficiency monitoring and manage and monitor steam fuel ratio along with management of fuel consumption thus leading to fuel savings.
The key feature of this technology is that it does not depend on any external flow sensors. There is a unique methodology that is used to arrive at boiler efficiency, fuel flow rate, required airflow, and operating airflow, which is highly reliable to an extent of 99.5%. This system uses mass and energy balance technology for combustion control, as well as the determination of real-time boiler efficiency.
This system when implemented not only sees an immediate improvement in overall system efficiency but also has financial spin-offs and improves profitability. The total cost of ownership of this entire system is very low and can be customized to meet the needs of the individual customers.
The system is based on sound principles of thermodynamics and thus eliminates the need for sensors. It works by monitoring pressure, temperature, volume, and density. These are the fundamental properties that are used in combustion analysis. The important parameters monitored by CMS0102 include bed temperatures, flue gas temperatures, FW temperature, air pressure, airflow TPH, Steam flow TPH, steam pressure, and calorific value.
